MBB: Dailey Secures Double-Double in Loss

GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Bethany College men's basketball team lost to Grove City, 85-67, Saturday in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.  

Grove City scored the final 10 points of the first half and the run extended to 13-0 as Bethany's seven-point lead was turned into a six-point deficit.  

Junior Cole Dailey finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season. Sophomore Ben Guffey added 13 points and junior Troy Hixson finished with 12 points.  

INSIDE THE BOX & NOTES 

  • After the team's combined for nine free throw attempts in the first half, 30 free throws were taken in the second half. Dailey attempted half of the team's 24 free throws, going 7-of-12 from the charity stripe.  

  • Junior T.J. Jenkins led the team with four assists, while sophomore Jaydis Kennedy tallied eight points and six rebounds.  

Bethany (7-16 overall, 2-16 PAC) travels to Saint Vincent 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for the final road game of the season.
