Men's Lacrosse: Funari earns PAC Defensive Player of the Week

BETHANY, W.Va. – Graduate student Christian Funari earned her third Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Defensive Player of the Week honor after his performance during week one.

In Bethany's 1-2 start to the season, Funari has totaled 23 ground balls and caused 11 turnovers. He caused eight turnovers and scooped 12 ground balls in the overtime win over Holy Family. Funari also totaled five ground balls and had three more caused turnovers against Mount Union.

The Bison return to action on Feb. 21 when they travel to Hiram.
