Men's Lacrosse: Britton and Taylor earn PAC weekly award honors

BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College men's lacrosse athletes Tyler Britton and Ethyn Taylor earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Weekly award honors after their performances during week seven.

Britton earned Offensive Player of the Week while Taylor earned Newcomer of the Week.

In Bethany's 2-1 week, Britton posted 15 points, including 12 goals, 16 ground balls and caused six turnovers. He started the week with four goals against DII Davis & Elkins. Britton then had six goals and two assists against La Roche and became Bethany's all-time goals leader. In the win against Anderson, he had two goals and one assist. Now for his career, Britton is atop the program's career goals list with 111.

Taylor totaled six goals and six assists, along with 13 ground balls and one caused turnover. In Bethany's win over La Roche, he had three goals and four assists with nine ground balls. In the win over Anderson, Taylor totaled two goals and two assists.

The Bison are back in action on Wednesday, Apr. 3 at 7 pm in Washington, Pa. against Washington & Jefferson College.
