Men's Lacrosse: Bison conclude season with a win on senior day

BETHANY, W.Va. – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team finished the season at home with a senior day victory against Thiel College.

THE BASICS

Final Score: Bethany 16, Thiel 10     

Records: Bethany (6-11, 1-7 PAC); Thiel (3-11, 0-8)

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Bethany scored the first three goals of the game, all three scorers were celebrated prior to the game for senior day. Raymond Rogers led with the opening goal followed by Tyler Britton and Cameron Russo. Both Russo and Britton scored twice in the first period. Bethany led 6-2 after the first period.
• The Bison outscored the Tomcats, 5-1 in the second, to take an 11-3 lead heading into the halftime break. Russo added three goals to his belt and totaled seven goals on the day.
• Thiel outscored Bethany, 7-5 in the second half.

BISON TOP PERFORMERS

• Cameron Russo had seven goals and one assist.
• Tyler Britton added four goals and three assists.
• Ethyn Taylor had three goals and one assist.

STATS OF THE GAME

• Bethany outshot Thiel, 52-43.
• Both teams were 15-30 on face-offs.
