Women's Lacrosse: Carter earns hat-trick in loss to Anderson
ANDERSON, Ind. – Sophomore Jada Carter earned her fourth hat-trick of the season in the women's lacrosse loss to Anderson Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Anderson notched their first goal of the game at the 12:53 mark.
- Jada Carter knotted the game at 1-1 with her first goal of the game on a women-up situation.
- Anderson went on to score the next three goals to take a 4-1 lead.
- Carter found the back of the net for the second time of the game with 3:43 to go in the first.
- The Bison trailed 4-2 after one period of play.
- The second period was all the Ravens as they outscored the Bison, 5-1. The Bison's lone goal came off the stick of freshman Tatum Severe.
- Bethany trailed 9-3 at the half.
- In the third, the Bison outscored the Ravens, 2-1. Janez Matthews scored off a Karley Trinidad assist and Tatum Severe scored her second goal of the game. The Bison trailed 10-5.
- In the fourth, the Ravens scored first extending their lead to 11-5.
- Bethany added three goals to cut the deficit. Jada Carter earned her third goal of the game followed by Lexie Reid and Abbie Carpenter. The Bison trailed by three with 7:27 to go in the game.
- The Ravens ended up holding the Bison and scoring two more insurance goals to take the 13-8 win.
