Women's Lacrosse: Bison conclude season against Tomcats

BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College women's lacrosse closed out the season with a loss to Thiel College Saturday afternoon.

Records: Thiel (9-6, 5-4); Bethany (4-12, 2-7)    

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Thiel scored the first four goals of the game. Bethany's Jada Carter opened the scoring for the Bison. Ashlyn Wightman for Thiel scored five of the six goals. Carter scored twice in the first quarter.
• The Tomcats outscored the Bison 12-4 in the first half. Jada Carter scored her third goal of the game with 23 seconds left in the half.
• Thiel took a commanding lead scoring four goals in the third quarter.
• Grace Schweickert scored her first career goal in the fourth quarter.

BISON TOP PERFORMERS

• Jada Carter led the Bison with three goals.
• Lexie Reid led the Bison with five draw controls.
