Men's Basketball: Zimmerman Posts Double-Double in Bethany's Loss to Geneva

Beaver Falls, Pa. –The Bethany College Men's basketball team returned to the hardwood to face the Geneva College Golden Tornadoes in a PAC matchup. The Bison fell 80-64 to the Golden Tornadoes inside Metheny Fieldhouse Tuesday evening.

GAME FLOW

  • Asa Klimchock had the first field goal of the game to give the Bison an early 2-0 lead.
  • Both teams battled back and forth, for the first few minutes until Geneva's offense heated up.
  • The Golden Tornadoes used a 20-6 run to build an 11 point lead with 12:24 to go in the half.
  • After trailing 36-16, the Bison used an 8-0 run to cut the deficit.
  • Bethany trailed Geneva 44-30 at the half.
  • The Bison started out the second half with a layup from Trent Uphold, but the Golden Tornadoes responded with a three from downtown.
  • Bethany cut the Geneva lead to ten multiple times throughout the second half, but could never get past the hump into single digits.
