Women’s Tennis takes 9-0 loss to Mount Aloysius

Oct. 1 - BETHANY, W. Va - The Bethany women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match 9-0 to Mount Aloysius on Saturday. 

In second doubles, Emily Folk (Hagerstown, Md. / North Hagerstown) and Angela Counselman (Bethany, W.Va. / Brooke) captured three games before the Bison went down 3-0 after doubles action. 

In first singles, Alyssa Smydo (Bentleyville, Pa. / Bentworth) won two games while Francesca Capaldi (Steubenville, Ohio / Catholic Central) also won two games in fifth singles. 

With the loss, Bethany falls to 0-8 on the season. They are back on the court tomorrow on October 2 when they host Medaille at 11am on the Mary Ewing Tennis Center courts.
