Men's Basketball: Brooks earns PAC Newcomer of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Bethany College men's basketball Will Brooks earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week for his performance during week one of play.

In Bethany's 1-2 week, Brooks averaged 11.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists. In Bethany's overtime win at Mount Aloysius, he had seven points, seven rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals. In the loss to Miami-Hamilton at the Defiance Tournament, he had 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting, eight rebounds and a pair of blocks. He shot 46.2 percent (12-26) from the field and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the foul line on the week.

The weekly laurel is his first of his career.

The Bison return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 15 when they host Franciscan in the PAC opener beginning at 7:30 pm.
