MARIETTA, Ohio – The Bethany College men's basketball team faced Marietta College in a non-conference matchup late Wednesday afternoon. The Pioneers cruised to a 118-76 victory over the Bison.
GAME FLOW
- Marietta began the game on a 9-0 run. Bethany's Cole Dailey put the Bison on the board at the 16 minute mark. The Bison was unable to get the offense started in the first half. The Green and White hit the 20 point mark with under seven minutes to go after Troy Hixson hit a jumper. The Pioneers led 38-21.
- At the half, the Pioneers led 54-36.
- Tony Fox led the second half with a layup followed by a three-pointer by Chance Wells.
- The Pioneers kept their composure and outscored the Bison, 64-40 in the second half.
IN THE BOX SCORE
- The Bison were led by freshman Will Brooks with 12 points while shooting 5-for-8 from the field and 2-for-3 from behind the arc.
- Tony Fox and Cole Matthews added 11 points and 10 points respectively.
- Cole Dailey led the Bison with five assists.

- Marietta shot 64.7% from the field making 44-of-68 shots. Bethany was 43.8% from the field (28-64).
- The Pioneers shot 50% from behind the arc.
