Women's Lacrosse: Bison Earn Win over Vixens

Harrisonburg, Va. – The Bethany College women's lacrosse team continued their road trip facing the Sweet Briar Vixens Thursday afternoon at Thayer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Bison scored thirty seconds into the game with a goal from Abbie Carpenter.
• Bethany took a 8-0 lead in the first period with goals coming from Abbie Carpenter (2), Karley Trinidad, Cassidy Mailloux (2), Kaitlin Pickett, Alexa Taylor and Rikiah Wise.
• In the second period, the Bison added four goals to take a 12-0 lead into the halftime break.
• The Bison continued to build their lead in the third, but the Vixens scored two goals to get on the board.
• Bethany's Rikiah Wise scored in the fourth to make the score 15-2.

BISON TOP PERFORMERS

• Cassidy Mailloux led the Bison with five goals and had one assist.
• Rikiah Wise had three goals and one assist.
• Alexa Taylor had two goals and one assist.
• Abbie Carpenter had two goals and one assist while scooping up five groundballs.
• Karley Trinidad had two goals.
• Kaitlin Pickett added one goal and one assist.
• Joanna Melita had two assists.
