Women's Lacrosse: Carpenter and Mailloux Earn PAC Weekly Honors

Bethany, W. Va. – A pair of Bethany College women's lacrosse midfielders earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) weekly honors this week for their performances last week for the Bison.

Senior Cassidy Mailloux earned PAC Midfielder of the Week for the second time this season. Mailloux totaled eight points (6G, 2A), three ground balls, five draw controls and a pair of caused turnovers Thursday in a 17-3 win over Waynesburg. The six goals were a season high for Mailloux. Through 13 games (13 starts) she has 46 points (37G, 9A), 47 ground balls, 54 draw controls and 20 caused turnovers.

Freshman Abbie Carpenter earned PAC Rookie of the Week honors. Carpenter finished with one goal, one assist, six ground balls, five draw controls and two caused turnovers in Thursday's 17-3 win over Waynesburg. Through 13 games (13 starts) she has totaled 20 points (12G, 8A), 53 ground balls, 45 draw controls and 20 caused turnovers.

The Bison return to action on Tuesday, April 19 at 4 pm against the Saint Vincent Bearcats.
