Women's Volleyball: Koehler earns PAC Offensive Player of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Bethany College senior outside hitter Olivia Koehler (Pinkerington, Ohio/Fairfield Christian) was named Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week for her performance during week one of the 2023 season.

Koehler led the Bison to a 3-1 opening weekend, notching 44 kills while hitting .304. She had 2.93 kills per set, totaled 38 digs and tallied four (.27/s) service aces on the weekend. In both the 3-0 victory against Baldwin Wallace and the 3-1 win over Hiram, Koehler hit .227. She also had 17 digs against Hiram (4.25/s). In the 3-1 win over Trine, Koehler had 17 kills while hitting .467 and against Ohio Northern, she notched 16 kills with 11 digs.

The weekly award is Koehler's first of her career.

The Bison return to the court on Friday, Sept. 8 when they compete in the Pam Briggs Classic. Bethany will face Capital at 6 pm. On Saturday, the Bison will face Otterbein and Hanover at 10 am and 12 pm.
