LATROBE, Pa. – The Bethany College women's volleyball team extended their win streak to eight after battling with Saint Vincent College Saturday afternoon.
THE MATCHUP
- Bethany 3, Saint Vincent 0 (28-26, 26-24, 25-21)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bison and Bearcats battled back and forth throughout the three sets. In the first set, after trailing for majority of the set, the Bison battled back and took the first set. After taking set one, the Bison maintained the momentum and held on the sweep the Bearcats.
MATCH NOTES
- Emma Marthins led the Bison with 13 kills, seven digs and four blocks. She hit .526 with three errors.
- Destiny Goodnight added 12 kills while Sydney Kirker had 10.
- Asia Crim led with 22 digs. Olivia Koehler and Caroline Mercer added 12 and 13 digs respectively.
- Alaina Torres led the Bison with 37 assists and three aces.
