Base: Seniors Honored in Bethany Park

BETHANY – Bethany played their first complete game on their home turf against Division II Wheeling University. It was a ceremonial game with the Bison honoring all seniors prior to first pitch.

 

Five seniors took the mound for their last game at home. Logan Bennett, Lucas Mackey, Logan Mayhle, Keith Burger, and Trey Mantle all saw action.

 

Three Bison seniors earned an RBI. Tyler McKee was the first to get the Bison on the board in the fourth with an RBI single. Nick Roell and Mike Hines both earned theirs in the seventh inning.

JT Hubert took some swings today, earning a hit in his final home plate appearance.

 

Grant Schaffner, Riley Brendel, and Hayden Fox all walked in their senior start. Derek Black made a box score impact scoring a run for the Bison.

 

Bethany will finish their season with a Presidents Athletic Conference doubleheader against Washington and Jefferson this Saturday at 1 p.m.
