New Wilmington, Pa. – The Bethany College softball team traveled to Westminster College to face the Titans in a PAC doubleheader Saturday afternoon. The Titans swept the Bison, 8-4 and 5-2.
Game One Overview
Westminster 8, Bethany 4
Bethany trailed 4-0 heading into the sixth inning. Tatum Barrass doubled to centerfield driving in Angela Brandel. Moments later, Jennifer Oberthur drove in Barrass, cutting the lead 4-2. Alex Kopec singled up the middle scoring Oberthur. The Bison trailed by one heading into the bottom half of the inning.
The Titans added insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth, building a 8-3 lead. In the seventh, Barrass singled to center field to score Morgan Huey. The Bison were unable to plate anymore runs.

Westminster took an early 2-0 lead. In the fifth Bethany plated two runs to knot the game at 2-2. Angela Brandel singled scoring Gabriella Capaldi. Moments later, Tatum Barrass drove in Paige Allen. In the sixth inning, Westminster regained the lead and held on for the win.
