Bethany's Waters Earns All-PAC Men's Soccer Recognition

Nov. 16 – GREENVILLE, Pa. – Junior Jack Waters earned Second-Team All-Presidents' Athletic Conference honors, announced the PAC on Tuesday. The men's soccer captain led the Bison in goals, assists, and total points this season.

Winning more than double the total amount of games from the previous season, the Bison relied heavily on the junior captain throughout the season. Waters was instrumental in helping Bethany pick up a couple early wins. The Epsom, United Kingdom native scored two goals, including the game-winner, against Mt. Aloysius on September 9. Waters then followed that up with another multi-score game in a win over Pitt-Greensburg on September 16.

Waters continued to lead the Bison on the field, collecting two more goals and adding an assist in overtime to secure a 3-2 victory over Saint Vincent on October 13.

Appearing in a total of 19 games, Waters posted at least five points on four different occasions. His top game came against Thiel College, where he tallied a hat trick and a career-high six points.

Overall, Waters amassed 12 goals, five assists, and 29 points in the 2015 campaign. He finished first in the PAC in shots (64), as well as fifth in the conference in both points and goals. He became the first Bison since Arkangelo James and Lamine Balde in 2013 to be named an all-conference selection.
