Bison dealt loss by Wilson to close Williams Classic, 4-0

BETHANY, W.Va. (Sept. 10) - The Bison men's soccer team was handed a 4-0 loss by Wilson College Sunday afternoon at the Fuzzy Williams Memorial Classic held at Hoag Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Wilson took advantage of a corner-kick in the 16th-minute when they found the back of a net on a headed-in ball.
• An unfortunate bounce near the half put Bethany in a 2-0 hole when a friendly pass back to the Bison keeper skipped away from him and into the net for an own goal.
• Wilson added a third goal two minutes into the second half to push the lead to 3-0, before a shorthanded backline allowed the fourth and final goal of the afternoon.
