PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Sept. 16) - The Bison held a 2-1 lead at the half, but four-straight goals by La Roche sent Bethany to a 5-2 loss Saturday afternoon in a non-conference match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The match saw goals by each team in the opening seven minutes of the game.
- La Roche scored first near the end of the third minute of regulation, but a goal by freshman Jose Lujan (Madrid, Spain/Centro Educativo Punta Galea) knotted the match up less than three minutes later.
- Lujan put the ball in the back of the net for his second goal of the game in the 26th-minute. The freshman took a pass from classmate Bernardo Vilchis (Mexico City, Mexico/Universidad del Valle) and gave the Bison a 2-1 lead that stood until halftime.
- La Roche tied the game with an unassisted-goal in the 51st-minute and claimed the lead nine minutes later with a second unassisted-goal.
- The Redhawks added to their lead in the 64th-minute and later added an insurance marker in the 87th-minute to claim the non-conference win.
MATCH NOTES
- Sophomore Michael Ceraolo (Weirton, W.Va./Weir) earned the nod in net and made a pair of saves in the loss.
- Bethany held an 18-to-16 advantage in shots for the match, but La Roche held a 10-to-5 edge in second half shots.
- The match saw a combined 13 bookings, despite only nine total fouls called on the field.
