Softball: Goodnight and Huey Earn PAC Postseason Recognition

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Bethany College softball first baseman Destiny Goodnight (Youngstown, Ohio/Ursuline) and utility player Morgan Huey (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) were recognized by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Tuesday morning when the PAC released its postseason awards for recently completed season.

Goodnight and Huey both earned All-PAC Honorable Mention.

Goodnight finished the season batting .292 with 28 hits and 20 runs scored. She swiped 18 bases out of 22 attempts. Primarily the Bison first baseman, she had a .988 fielding percentage with 151 putouts and eight assists.

Huey finished the season leading the Bison with a .320 batting average and slugging percentage of .474. She had 31 hits, 25 RBIs, and 18 runs scored. Her 11 doubles and two triples were a team-high. She currently ranks fourth all-time with 30 stolen bases, with 10 coming from this season.

Angela Brandel (Plain City, Ohio/Jonathan Alder) earned PAC Sportsmanship Team honors.
