Baseball: Bison Swept in PAC Doubleheader Against Presidents

Washington, Pa. – The Bethany College baseball team faced the Washington & Jefferson Presidents in a PAC doubleheader Saturday afternoon at Ross Memorial Park.

Game One Overview

W&J 5, Bethany 2

Bethany took at 1-0 lead after Cameron Schaub hit a homerun in the top of the second. The Presidents answered in the bottom of the second scoring four runs to lead 4-1. W&J added one more run in the bottom of the fifth to take a 5-1 lead. Bethany earned a run in the sixth from a Luke Beatty single down the leftfield line to drive in Michael Whiteherse.

Game Two Overview

W&J 6, Bethany 0

W&J had full control of game two scoring six runs on 14 hits and two Bison errors.

Bethany College Bison – 11-8, 3-3

Washington & Jefferson Presidents – 13-6, 6-0
