Serensky Shoots Perfect in Win
BEAVER COUNTY, Pa – Bethany had a convincing road win over PSU-Beaver, winning 88-57. It was a team effort for the Bison, who had 19 different athletes spend minutes on the court.
Junior Kaedlee Potter was the team's leading scorer. The forward was 8-11 from the field, scoring all her points inside the arc. She also notched a free throw on a fouled layup opportunity, boosting her total to 17 points. Defensively, Potter had three rebounds and three steals.
Senior Alyssa Serensky made a huge impact coming off the bench. Serensky shot a perfect 6-for-6 from the field, scoring 15 points in only 14 minutes (including two threes and a free throw). The senior can also be seen in the defensive side of the box score earning two rebounds, a steal, and a block.
Freshman Addy Blazer played a pivotal part on defense, leading the team in rebounds with seven. She also stole the ball three times. On offense, Blazer added five points and three assists, including a three pointer.
The locker room thermostat must have been turned up, because the Bison came out of the locker room on fire. In the third quarter, Bethany shot 73%, going 11-15 from the floor. The Bison made four of their five three point attempts, with senior Lindey Garrison and Serensky each splashing a pair. The Bison carried a 78-31 lead into the fourth quarter before pumping the brakes offensively, converting their big lead to an effortless victory.

Ariana Crockett was a perfect 4-4 from the line, making two-thirds of Bethany's free throws herself.

Bethany held Beaver to only nine points in the third quarter, outscoring them by an even 20.

Bethany (2-1, 1-0 PAC) will come back home for another Presidents Athletic Conference matchup against the Westminster Titans. Tip-off is set for Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
