New Superlatives in Huge Win

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - A lot of superlatives were achieved as the Bethany College women's basketball cruised to the 72-42 victory over Westminster Saturday on Ron Galbreath Court inside the Buzz Ridl Gymnasium in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.

The 42 points allowed were the fewest allowed in this history of the series. The previous low of 43 points was set in 2018. The 30-point victory is also the largest margin for the Bison, besting the 27-point win on December 12, 1992.

Junior Kaedlee Potter had a career game for the Bison. The forward recorded her first career double-double with a career-high 21 points, a career-best 12 rebounds, and career-high tying five assists.

Senior Alyssa Serensky tied her season-high with 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting. Sophomore Kate Botti set a new season-high with 15 rebounds, one shy of her career-high of 16. Freshman Amaria Jones reached double figures for the first time this season with a career-high 10 points.
