Women's Basketball: Garrison's Record-Setting Night Powers Bison Past Lions

Upper Burrell, Pa. – Freshman Lindsey Garrison set a program record hitting nine three-pointers and poured in 29 points in Bethany College's 82-21 win over Penn State New Kensington Tuesday evening at Penn State New Kensington Athletic Center.
GAME FLOW
- Freshman Lindsey Garrison got the Bison on the board first hitting the first three of the game.
- Garrison scored the Bison's first eight points of the game.
- The Bison led 10-0 until the Lions were able to score with under six minutes to go.
- Bethany led 23-4 at the end of the first stanza. Garrison had 11 of her 29 points in the first quarter.
- The Bison went on a 40-4 run before the Lions scored their sixth point of the game. The Green and White led 50-6 at the half.
- The Lions scored the first bucket of the second half.
- Garrison made her ninth three of the game at the 6:56 mark of the final quarter.
- Bethany held PSU-New Kensington to 21 points.

- Senior Courtney Walker added 10 points and recorded five steals.
- Freshman Ashleigh Wheeler had eight points, six rebounds, six assists, and six steals.

- 9 – Lindsey Garrison's nine three pointers set the program record previously held by Hayley Holenka who hit eight three's against Washington & Jefferson in 2017.
