Women's Basketball: Garrison earns PAC Player of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa. – After a stellar back-to-back performance last week, Bethany College women's basketball player Lindsey Garrison earns Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Week for her performance in week two of play.

Garrison led the Bison to a 2-0 opening week of PAC play. The junior guard averaged 27.0 points, 5.0 assists, 4.5 steals and 1.5 rebounds. In the 89-55 win over Franciscan, she scored 32 points, shooting 11-for-17 (64.7%) from the field. Garrison went 10-for-15 from three-point range (66.7%), setting the new school single-game record for the most threes made. In Saturday's home victory over Waynesburg, she totaled 22 points, shooting 8-for-12 (66.7%) from the field. She also had four threes while dishing out nine assists and adding seven steals.

The weekly laurel is her second of her career.

Bethany returns to the court on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 5:30 pm when they travel to take on Allegheny in a PAC matchup.
