Women's Basketball: Skobel earns PAC Player of the Week

BETHANY, W.Va. – Senior Bella Skobel earned her third Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Week honor after her performance during week 14.

Bethany's Skobel averaged 19.0 points while shooting 54.2 percent (13-of-24) from the field and 91 percent (10-of-11) from the foul line in a 2-0 week. In Wednesday's win at Thiel, Skobel scored 12 points, going 6-of-11 from the field, and adding three rebounds and two assists. In Saturday's 67-56 PAC home playoff game clinching victory over Westminster, Skobel put an impressive 26 points on the board, shooting 54 percent (7-of-13) from the field and 50 percent from behind the 3-point arc (2-of-4), while adding four rebounds and three steals.

The Bison return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 20 when they host Saint Vincent in the PAC Tournament Quarterfinal round at 7 pm.
