PAC releases Indoor Track & Field Preseason Coaches Poll

GREENVILLE, Pa. (Dec. 2) – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released the results of its men's and women's indoor track & field preseason coaches' poll Friday.

Bethany College, led by 14th-year head coach Andy Upton, finished second in the preseason men's coaches' poll with four first-place votes and 87 points. The Bison won back-to-back league championships in 2015 and 2016. Meanwhile, the women were slotted sixth in their preseason poll.

Westminster College was selected by the league's 10 head coaches to capture both the men's and women's titles this year.

The Bison open the season today, Friday, December 2 when a pair of sprinters compete against competitors from NCAA Division I, II and III at the Youngstown State Icebreaker Meet in Youngstown, Ohio. Senior Andre Butler (Poolesville, Md./Poolesville) and sophomore Jelani Williams (Jersey City, N.J./Ferris) are both slated to run in the 200 and 400 meter dashes at the event.
