Men's 4x400 relay highlights Bison day at Mount Union

ALLIANCE, Ohio (Feb. 4) – The Bethany College men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed at the Mount Union Wuske Invitational Saturday afternoon.

Senior Andre Butler (Poolsville, Md./Poolsville) had another fine day on the track. He finished fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.95 seconds and fourth in the 400 meters, crossing the tape at 51.08 seconds.

Butler was joined by sophomore Jelani Williams (Jersey City, N.J.), junior Ed Maxwell (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) and sophomore Marshall Murray (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills) on the 4x400-meter relay team that crossed the finish line first at three minutes, 31.10 seconds, a season-best time for the group.

In the field, freshman Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed (Arlington, Va./Fishburne Military) cleared 1.93 meters (six feet, four inches) to take second place in the high jump.
