PAC, ECAC names Sallah-Mohammed Field Athlete of the Week

GREENVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 6) – Bethany College track & field freshman Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed (Arlington, Va./Fishburne Military) was tabbed the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Indoor Field Athlete of the Week announced the league office Monday afternoon.

On Wednesday, February 8, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) named Sallah-Mohammed as the Divison III South Rookie of the Week, announced its league headquarters.

Sallah-Mohammed cleared 1.93 meters (six feet, four inches) to take second place in the high jump at the Mount Union Wuske Invitational this past Saturday. His jump qualified him for the ECAC Indoor Championships, which will take place on Friday, March 3.

The Virginia native also took sixth in the long jump with a mark of 6.49 meters (21 feet, 3.5 inches) at the event.

Currently, Sallah-Mohammed has the best marks in the PAC in both the long and high jumps.

Sallah-Mohammed and members of the Bison track & field team are back in competition on Friday, February 10 when they head to Berea, Ohio to participate in the Baldwin Wallace Invitational.
