PAC, ECAC tab Sallah-Mohammed Rookie of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. (March 29) – Bethany College freshman Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed (Arlington, Va./Fishburne Military) was tabbed the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region Rookie of the Week announced the organization Wednesday.

Sallah-Mohammed, who was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Track & Field Rookie of the Week on Monday, tied for fourth in the high jump, clearing six feet (1.83 meters) and finished fifth in the long jump with a mark of 20 feet, 11.75 inches (6.39m) at Muskingum's Amy Adams Memorial Invitational last weekend.

He was also a member of Bethany's fourth-place 4x100-meter relay team that crossed the tape at 43.15 and established a qualifying time for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Outdoor Championships.

Sallah-Mohammed, who was a two-time ECAC Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week, currently ranks second on the PAC performance list in the high jump.

Sallah-Mohammed and the rest of the Bethany College track & field teams will host the Bethany Invitational on Saturday, April 1 at 10 a.m.
