Bethany Places 75 on Presidents' Athletic Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll

Greenville, Pa – Bethany College featured 75 scholar-athletes on the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) 2020 Spring Academic Honor Roll announced by the league office Friday morning.

Leading the way for Bethany was the baseball team who placed 15 scholar-athletes on the honor roll. Women's basketball followed with 10, followed by women's track and field with nine and softball and men's track and field placed eight. Men's basketball added six, followed by men's tennis with five, and men and women's lacrosse with four apiece. Swimming and Diving added three while golf rounded out the spring sports with one scholar-athlete.

The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition.

In the fall, Bethany recognized 48 scholar-athletes on the PAC Fall Academic Honor Roll.  A total of 1,368 student-athletes were recognized on the PAC Academic Honor Rolls (555 fall, 813 spring).

Washington & Jefferson College led the 10 league schools with 110 student-athletes earning PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition. Saint Vincent College was next with 104 and was followed by Westminster College (103), Thiel College (94), Chatham University (89), Grove City College (87), Bethany College (75), Geneva College (66), Waynesburg University (60) and Franciscan University (25).
