Activities outside of Athletics?
Outside of softball, I am a sister of Zeta Tau Alpha and serve as our Membership Director and Judicial Chairman. I am the Vice President of the Greek Panel Committee for the female Greek life, as well.  I am the Public Relations Coordinator for the Pre-Health Club and an inducted member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society. I am one of the softball representatives for the Student Athletic Advisory Committee and am a member of the Spanish Club and Tri-Beta Club.

What is your dream job?
My dream job is to become either a Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon or a Pediatric Pulmonologist.

Tips for being successful?
One tip I have for being successful is time management. Between classes, homework, practice, and games, one of the biggest things I have learned is how to manage my time and ensure I am organized and completing all my responsibilities on and off the field diligently and thoroughly.

What does it mean to be a Scholar-Athlete?
To me, being a scholar-athlete means pursing my education and working towards my degree, all while having the opportunity to continue playing the game I love so dearly and have been playing since I was a young girl.

Why Bethany?
I chose Bethany because of the close-knit atmosphere and truly feeling at home here. I feel we are one big family here at Bethany and I do not see myself being anywhere else. The opportunities provided to students in and out of the classroom, such as internship, research opportunities, clubs on campus, Greek life, etc. was also a big deciding factor for me.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment as a student has been maintaining a high GPA throughout high school and my time here at Bethany so far. My biggest accomplishment as an athlete would be being a collegiate athlete and making it this far in my softball career.

With COVID-19 restrictions, how have you adapted as an athlete and as a student?
As a student that is a very hands-on learner, it initially took some time for me to adjust and accept this new way of life. However, I have learned to take things day by day and accept that everything could be different the next day. I have learned to be extra patient with myself and adjusting to most of my classes being online.

As an athlete, I have learned to make adjustments and not get angry with situations that are out of my control, but focus on my personal weaknesses and continuing to strengthen and grow as a player and teammate.

A Fun Fact about yourself:
I am from Virginia
