Tips for being successful?
Your goals are never too big, stay focused, and trust the process.

What does it mean to be a Scholar-Athlete?
Being a scholar-athlete is extremely important to me, because handling school and sports at the same time has taught me discipline, respect, and other characteristics that will carry over into my professional life, that will help me succeed. It has taught me to never settle, and to continuously work harder to better every aspect of my life, be it sports, academics, relationships, etc.

Why Bethany?
Luckily I visited Bethany for the first time on the best day of the year (Homecoming,) and was immediately captivated by the beauty and also like family-like nature that I saw. Bethany students, coaches, staff, and faculty all work relentlessly to see you be successful, and I knew that was the positivity that I needed to be successful in my college career.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
Out of the awards I have won, my biggest accomplishment is overcoming my ACL injury, and returning to the field and track, the next year, without any delay.

With COVID-19 restrictions, how have you adapted as an athlete and as a student?
COVID has made things difficult. I am currently practicing for soccer, as well as training for track, which is unusual for me, because right now I would typically be in the heat of soccer season. From wearing masks, from the random testing, to not being able to even high-five my teammates, it has definitely been somewhat disheartening. But, it also excites me because we have been given the opportunity to train for much longer, and I already see teammates putting 150% into the programs, so I am trying to see it "glass-half-full."

A Fun Fact about yourself:
I enjoy making charcuterie boards, and I am pretty decent at it. Waffles, pancakes, cheese and meats, any type of charcuterie board.
