Meyers Qualifies for Nationals; Earns USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

Bethany, W.Va – After becoming Bethany College's first female track and field athlete to qualify for Nationals, senior Riley Meyers added USTFCCCA All-Region Honors to her belt.

Meyers earned All-Region Honors in both the 100 meter hurdles and 400 meter hurdles. She finished first in the 400 hurdles and third in the 100 hurdles in the Mideast Region.

On Thursday, Meyers will compete in the NCAA Championships in the 400 meter hurdles. Her school-record run of 1:03.79 ranks 16th in the Nation.

The championships will be held May 27-29 at the Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, North Carolina.
