Activities outside of Athletics?
I am a member of the Tri-Beta biology club and Pre-Health club, and a residential assistant. I enjoy outdoor activities such as working on my farm, kayaking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with close family and friends.

What is your dream job?
My dream job is to become a Physician's Assistant.

Tips for being successful?
Stay focused, be positive, and be true to yourself.

What does it mean to be a Scholar-Athlete?
A scholar athlete is a person who is physically and intellectually committed to a high-level of academics and athletics and able to strive in both aspects.

Why Bethany?
When I toured campus, I immediately felt the family aspect of Bethany College. I felt welcomed, safe, and knew I would be able to strive in my studies. This was a feeling of home, and that's what I was looking for. Bethany is suited for who I am, and have been given opportunities that I may have to experienced elsewhere.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment as an athlete is breaking the schools 5k record during the indoor track season. This was probably only my third ever 5k ran as well.

With COVID-19 restrictions, how have you adapted as an athlete and as a student?
I am a RA, therefore COVID restrictions have had an impact on me immensely. I have been helping my peers adapt throughout the process while I am also adapting to the new protocols. I have looked at it in a positive manner, and realized that facing these challenges as a student with the barrier of not having in-person classes and as an athlete with not having actual practices, but rather pushing yourself personally to strive to be better for the next day is quite hard. These challenges have never been faced before and process is hard, but overcoming this challenge makes you a better person in the end.

A Fun Fact about yourself:
A fun fact about myself is: I've never done track in my life until my junior year in college, and I never knew without the great opportunity the coaches have given me I had a hidden talent of running within.
